Kimabe was born in New York City, an artist/poet/songwriter who has been exploring the boundaries of emotional journeys in acceptance of the self and remembrance for close to ten years. Kimabe's performance has evolved through steady rounds on the poetry circuit with group shows at Brooklyn Moon, Nuyorican Poets Café as a guest with the group Vibe Chameleons, and at other venues in Brooklyn. Taking on the essence of storytelling prose, she gives her audience a view into the lives of every day people digging into their most introspective moments.

Through her collaborations of text and movement with Restless.Native.Dance, Kimabe's next move into songwriting and singing will continue the energy of soulful storytelling and vivid characters which will surely bring a new vibration and sound to the world of poetry and music for years to come.
